The classes for an online MBA program are held through a Learning Management System (LMS). An LMS is like a virtual classroom where all the academic activities are conducted. The classes are in the form of live video lectures which are also recorded. The video recordings are available on the LMS for all students to access at any time.
In case of online delivery of the course, the theory classes are conducted through the LMS while the practical classes are conducted through virtual labs. While in the hybrid mode of the program, the theory classes are held online through the LMS but practical classes are conducted offline on the college campus in the laboratories. So, students must visit the college for these offline lab sessions.
Online MBA programs are in online and distance mode and so the universities usually conduct multiple assignments during the program to keep students in track with the course. These assignments are conducted online through the LMS. These can be in any form like quizzes, written assignments, presentations, group projects, etc. Usually it is mandatory to complete these assignments as most of them are marked in the internal assessment.
