IGNOU BBA Admission Process (July Session 2025)
Indira Gandhi National Open University admission is expected to begin in the first week of July 2025, the last date for IGNOU BBA Admission 2025-26 may be 31st July, 2025. Students can apply for various bachelor’s, master’s, diploma, postgraduate diploma, and certificate courses (both program and honours courses). IGNOU offers a BBA program in two specializations – Retailing (RL) and Services Management (SM). BBA in retail management admission is based on merit and interview while on the other hand BBA in Service Management admissions is also based on merit. For BBA in retail management and BBA in service management admissions are conducted for both January and July sessions. IGNOU Admission Procedure July 2025 Session
IGNOU BBA Program takes place twice every year usually in January and June. You will be assured admission if you, Meet all the eligibility requirements for the BBA program offered by IGNOU. - First of all, visit the website of IGNOU admission portal that is https://ignouiop.samarth.edu.in/ (If you want to enroll for online programs) & https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in/ (If you want to enroll for online programs).
- Then, hit the option “ Click here for New Registration” provided on the homepage.
- Complete all the details such as name, email, password, mobile no, etc.
- Â Hit the Register Button and get yourself register here.
- Now, you will get login credentials on your smart device and on email.
- After that, log in again and then provide all the details correctly.
- Upload your necessary data into the relevant fields.
- Now, complete payment formalities and enter debit or credit card details.
- Press the End Submission tab there.
- You will get the confirmation message once you have completed all the details.

What Are the Documents Required for IGNOU BBA Admission?
The admission to the BBA course needs various documents to be uploaded on the website while filling out the admission form. You have to provide their details and documents:
- Scanned Photograph (less than 100 KB)
- Scanned Signature (less than 100 KB)
- Scanned copy of relevant Educational Qualification (less than 200 KB)
- Scanned Copy of Experience Certificate (if any) (less than 200 KB)
- Scanned Copy of Category Certificate, if SC/ST/OBC (less than 200 KB)
Note: Fee can be paid by the following methods:Credit Card (Master/Visa), Debit Card (Master/Visa/Rupay), Net Banking.
Cancellation of IGNOU BBA Admission and Refund of Fee
The registration fee is non-refundable. However, if a cancellation request is initiated:
- Before admission confirmation – The full fee is refunded.
- After admission confirmation – 15% of the program fee (up to â‚ą2,000) is deducted.
- For soft copy SLM users – Only the registration fee is deducted.
- Fee exemption cases – Only the development fee is refunded.

IGNOU provides various scholarship opportunities to support its students, including government-funded and internal scholarships:
Scholarships from NEP (National Scholarship Portal): IGNOU BBA scholarships are available through the Government of India i.e. National Scholarship Portal. If you are interested in applying for the IGNOU BBA scholarship program for July 2025 session, you can do so on the National Scholarship Portal (https://scholarships.gov.in/) after your admission is confirmed.Â
Scholarships for SC/ST and OBC Students – Reserved category students, such as those belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC), can benefit from scholarships provided by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) and the University Grants Commission (UGC).

These scholarships are often open to students from all universities, not just IGNOU.
