The DU SOL MBA program is a two-year distance learning course offered by the Department of Distance and Continuing Education (DDCE) under the School of Open Learning (SOL), University of Delhi. This DU SOL MBA program is designed for both fresh graduates and working professionals, providing a flexible and affordable platform to gain management skills and business knowledge. Admissions for the July 2025 session for all UG and PG programmes offered in ODL and Online modes will open on the DU SOL portal.

DU SOl MBA Duration & Eligibility

For Indian students, the eligibility criteria are 10+2 examination from a recognized university and also bachelor degree program passed with at least 50% marks. Students who passed with BBA will be given preference. Apart from these things, it is recommended to have business and mathematics in class 12th. Detail eligibility criteria are below in the table.

Promotion to Second Year (Part II)

Re-Examination Schedule
– Semester 2: Reappear for Semester 1 papers.
– Semester 3: Reappear for Semester 1 & 2 papers (only if promoted to Semester 3).
– Semester 4: Reappear for any paper from Semester 1, 2, or 3.

Special Provision:

If failed in Semester 4 (Part II), students get a special chance to reappear in max 2 papers of Part II after final results.

Internships play an important role in the career development of DU SOL MBA students by bridging the gap between academic theory and practical application. At the Delhi University School of Open Learning (DU SOL), internships are seen as a very important component of the MBA programme, helping students gain real-world exposure, hands-on experience, and essential workplace skills. DU SOL actively supports its students in exploring diverse industries and job roles through its dedicated Placement Cell. The cell collaborates with a variety of organizations to offer internship opportunities across sectors. DU SOL has also partnered with OLDC to provide internships that expose students to cutting-edge industry trends and technologies.

To enhance employability and professional readiness, summer internships are mandatory for all non-working MBA students in their second year. The duration of the internship program is 8 weeks (either as one internship or two internships of 4 weeks each).
