Uttar Pradesh is gearing up to host the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) on October 28 and 29, 2023. With approximately 20 lakh eager candidates set to participate in this significant examination, the state administration has made a thoughtful decision to ensure a seamless process.
To minimize disruptions and create a conducive environment for exam takers, school classes will be temporarily suspended for two days in 35 districts across Uttar Pradesh. This proactive measure takes into account the likelihood that some educational institutions might serve as authorized test centers for the UPPSC’s Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2023.
The aim is to prevent any school-related activities during this period. This step is expected to assist in maintaining the integrity of the examination and reducing potential disturbances.
Meanwhile, in the Gautam Buddh Nagar district, 14 schools operating without proper authorization have been promptly ordered to close. These schools, primarily offering education up to class 12, are predominantly located in villages near Noida. The affected schools include seven in Harola, four in Jalpura, and one each in Shahdara, Mangrauli, and Chhijarsi.
With an average enrollment of about 150 students per school, these closures will address concerns of unauthorized operations.
The UPPSC PET 2023 examination is scheduled to be conducted in two sessions, morning and afternoon. Admit cards have yet to be released on the official website. The exam comprises three sections: general knowledge, quantitative aptitude, and reasoning. Qualifying this stage will lead to the subsequent mains examination.Aspirants are advised to stay updated by regularly checking the official website for the latest updates regarding the UPPSC PET exam.
