New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the results of the Civil Services 2022 examination. Ishita Kishore, a student from Delhi University, has secured the first rank (AIR 1) in the exam. This year, as well, women have excelled in the top positions, with Garima Lohia, Uma Harathi N, and Smriti Mishra securing high ranks.
In the previous year’s UPSC CSE 2021 exam, Shruti Sharma had achieved the first rank. Notably, the top three positions were also held by women, with Ankita Agarwal securing AIR 2 and Gamini Singla from Chandigarh obtaining rank 3.
Candidates who appeared for the personality test can check their results on the official website of UPSC, upsc.gov.in. The preliminary exam took place on June 5, 2022, and the results were announced on June 22. The main examination was conducted from September 16 to 25, and the results were declared on December 6. The interviews concluded on May 18.
