Now IGNOU has again extended the last date for fresh admissions and re-registration for July 2024 session to September 20, 2024. The extension is applicable for all the programs on offer under both Online Distance Learning (ODL) and Online modes except for semester-based and certificate programs.

 Earlier the date was September 10, 2024. This new extension will provide more opportunities for aspirants to apply as per their eligibility for different undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma or certificate programmes.

All students, new and existing are encouraged to complete their application or re-registration through the university’s official portals (https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in/) in order to not lose out on this opportunity.

IGNOU will also charge a late fee of ₹200 for the re-registration which is essential for students moving into the next semester or academic year. Except for semester-based courses, all programmes have to be paid a fee and the students can re-register through the online IGNOU re-registration portal onlinerr.ignou.ac.in.

How To Fill Application forms for IGNOU July Admission 2024 Important Documents Required to Apply

For the application of IGNOU admission make sure you should have these documents at:

  • A scanned passport size photograph
  • Your Signature scanned (less than 100 KB)
  • Mandatory attachments include scanned copies of your educational certificates.
  • Facsimile (optional) of your letter drawable
  • SC/ ST and OBC Category certificate

Please remember that scanned copies must also be in files under the size limits 100 KB (photos and signature) or of less than 200KB for all other documents.

TEE 2024 (Term-End Examination) Update

Along with the extension of the admission deadline, IGNOU has also notified that the Term-End Examination (TEE) 2024 form for December session is available now. The link to fill the examination form for this is available on the official website exam exam.ignou.ac.in. Students wishing to use the approved AP exam credit form for their discipline area course work must submit that form by October 15, 2024. early enrollment is recommended avoid impeding academic progress.
