The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has issued a new advertisement inviting applications for the engagement of two full-time Academic Associates in its Research Unit at Maidan Garhi, New Delhi. The positions will be offered on a contractual basis.

According to the notification, each appointment will be made initially for six months, with the possibility of further extension based on satisfactory performance. However, the total tenure will not exceed two years from the date of joining.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following essential qualifications:
- A Master’s degree in any discipline—including Social Sciences, Sciences, Engineering, or Humanities—with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade from a recognized university.
- A minimum of five years of experience in the university system.
- Proficiency in statistical software and MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Hindi, along with expertise in official noting and drafting.

- The selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration ranging from ₹40,000 to ₹60,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
