The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has released an official advertisement inviting applications for the position of Full-Time Consultant in Yoga under the School of Health Sciences (SOHS). The candidate selected will support the development and implementation of the University’s Certificate and Diploma programmes in Yoga.

According to the notification, applicants must possess a Master’s degree in Yoga along with a minimum of two years of relevant experience. The maximum age limit is 68 years as per the date of the advertisement. The position offers a consolidated remuneration of ₹40,000 to ₹60,000 per month.

Contractual Nature of Appointment
The consultant position is purely contractual, initially for six months, and extendable based on institutional requirements. IGNOU has clarified that selected candidates will not be entitled to claim absorption or regular appointment in the University. Only shortlisted applicants will be called for interview, and no TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
