IGNOU M.Com Fees for International Students
Currently, IGNOU does not offer a Master of Commerce (M.Com) program for international students. If you are an international student and want to pursue an online M.Com program from India, many universities, such as Manipal University Online, LPU Online, Amity Online, and others, offer an M.Com degree with flexible learning options. To know the fee details of these universities, refer to the comparison table below.
Candidates eligible for fee concessions must provide an income certificate issued by a recognized government authority. IGNOU offers fee exemptions to students from Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories. Eligibility to obtain the fee concession under this stream is as follows:
– The applicant must belong to the SC or ST category.
– They should not be employed.
– They must not be receiving any scholarships or fee waivers from other sources.
– The total annual income of the applicant’s parents or guardians must not exceed INR 2.5 lakhs during a financial year.
– It is important to note that the fee concession applies to one program only
IGNOU has a drafted refund policy under specific circumstances. Here are the conditions under which refunds are given:
– Duplicate Payments: If a candidate pays the fee multiple times due to a transaction error, the entire fee, including the registration fee, will be refunded.
– Application for Multiple Non-Permissible Programs: If a candidate applies for more than one program not allowed in a single session, the fee for one program will be retained (based on the student’s choice) after deducting the registration fee.
– Ineligibility for Admission: If admission is rejected due to ineligibility, only the program fee is refunded.
– Program Withdrawal by the University: If IGNOU decides to withdraw a program, the full fee, including the registration fee, is refunded.
For students who wish to withdraw from the course, refund rules depend on the timing of their request:
- Before Admission Confirmation: The full program fee is refunded after deducting the registration fee.
- Within 15 Days of Admission Confirmation: A deduction of INR 500 is made, and the remaining amount is refunded.
- Between 16-90 Days of Admission Confirmation: A deduction of INR 1000 is applied, and the remaining fee is refunded.
- After 90 Days of Admission Confirmation: No refunds are permitted.
