The MBA in Entrepreneurship and Leadership is an innovative dual specialization PG degree course offered by DU-SOL that covers subject areas of entrepreneurship as well as leadership skills to develop a successful business venture. Eligibility (Graduation with 50% or its equivalent): The minimum eligibility criteria must be satisfactorily met to apply to the course since the initial screening of applicants are done on the basis of it. The minimum eligibility criteria set by DU-SOL for an MBA program is that the candidate should be a Bachelor’s graduate from a recognized university with minimum 50% aggregate score/grade points. Candidates belonging to any education stream can apply to this course. The university also prefers candidates with some professional experience, however, freshers are also eligible to take admissions.
Duration (2 to 5 years): The full duration of this PG degree program is 2 years, further divided into 4 semesters (of 6 months each). The students in the ODL mode are provided an extra 2 years time to complete the course and pass all the papers. Thus, a total of 4 years are provided to students to complete this course.

The syllabus for the course is quite unique as it includes systematic study of entrepreneurship subjects and leadership aspects in the context of management. Over the course of 4 semesters, various basic management and specialization-specific subjects including Managing Human Resources in SMEs/Start-Ups, Entrepreneurship, Creativity, and Innovation, effective leadership, corporate strategy etc. The subjects are in-grained with hands-on training and online sessions to facilitate all-round learning of students.

The course fee for a dual specialization MBA from DU-SOL is kept in an affordable range so that more and more students can take admission in the course. The full course fee for an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Leadership is INR 95,000, thus the payable fee amount per year of the course is INR 47,500, inclusive of the tuition fee, SLM fee, the service and facilities charge etc. However, students are required to pay an application fee of INR 250 (INR 100 for reserved category) separately during registrations and an examination fee on a semester-wise basis. Admission procedure for this course is quite simple and candidates can apply to it by registering themselves online on the official DU-SOL admissions website. In case a candidate is not able to do so, they are given the chance to reappear in the exam in the consequent semesters. Students get a total of 4 years to qualify all the exams and papers.
Assignments – Assignments are an essential aspect of the IA in DU-SOL for MBA, and students must complete their assignments in the designated time-frame and submit them online in the portal for assignment submission on the official website. The assignments are application-based and need to be well-researched. The assignments are also taken in DU-SOL in the form of quizzes, group projects etc. and need to be completed on time as they constitute 30% of the academic weightage in overall evaluation. Moreover the students must score at least 40% marks in IA to qualify in the final examination.
Term-End/Semester Examinations – The term-end examination for an MBA in DU-SOL constitutes 70% of the academic weightage and is conducted in the physical mode. Students need to appear for the exams at their designated exam centres. They need to register for the exam by filling in the exam form and paying the examination fee. The exam medium is English, and it is of a duration of 3 hours. Students need to score at least 40% marks in each exam to qualify the paper.
Placement – DU-SOL has its dedicated placement cells, which organizes regular job fairs and placement drives with top recruiting partners like Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, WIPRO, TCS, Infosys, Accenture etc. There are industry-interactions and seminars conducted to enable students in the distance mode of learning to have practical exposure to hone their professional skills.
