Eligibility (Graduation with 50% or its equivalent): The minimum criteria for being eligible to apply in this course is that a candidate should have completed their Bachelors from a recognized university/higher educational institution. The candidate must accordingly have a minimum score of 50% marks in their examinations at graduation. Working professionals are also eligible to apply to this course. There are no stream restrictions and students with any educational background can seek admission in the course.

DU SOL MBA In Data Science Fees Structure & scholarships
The full course fee for the MBA program at DU-SOL is INR 95,000 for two years. Students pursuing the course can submit the fee in the annual mode of fee payment, with the payable amount being INR 47,500. This fee includes charges for tuition fee, SLMs, university maintenance funds, student welfare funds etc. The charges for the registration and examinations are not included in the course fee, and must be paid separately. The registration fee is a one-time payment before admissions and the exam fee is charged on a per-semester basis.

DU SOL MBA In Data Science Admission Process (How to Apply?)
The admission procedure for the course is provided both in the online and offline modes. Students can register for the course online, by filling their application form, necessary details and documents’ copies and paying the registration fee. The candidates are further shortlisted for the course based upon the merit criteria and the performance of a candidate in the entrance exam. The merit criteria is for the graduates of DU while non-DU graduates need to appear for entrance tests for admission.

The university encourages students to opt for the digital SLMs instead of printed SLMs by providing a fee abatement of INR 400 to those who select the former.
Evaluation – Evaluation of the performance of a candidate for this course includes 2 major components-Internal Assessment (IA) and term-end examinations. The former includes assignments, quizzes and projects. Another component of overall assessment of the student includes the mandatory internship that they are expected to complete after completion of the first year of the course. The IA weighs 30% and term-end exams weigh 70% in terms of evaluation weightage. A student must have at least 40% marks in both the exam and IA to qualify a paper. A minimum aggregate score of 45% marks also needs to be maintained.
Assignments – The assignments for this course are provided to students online, using the assignment portal of DU-SOL. Assignments comprise the Internal Assessment (IA), which further carries 30% academic weightage of the total evaluation. So, students must complete the assignments within the provided deadline and submit them on the portal of SOL. The assignments for the MBA in Data Science are designed to enhance the managerial and technical skills and knowledge of students, along with analytical and critical abilities.
Term-End Examination – The term-end exams for the course are conducted in the physical, offline mode. Students are required to visit the exam center designated to them to appear in the exam. The full duration of the course is 3 hours, and the full marks are 70. The medium of assessment is English. A student must score at least 40% marks in a paper to qualify it. To appear in the exam, a student must fill the examination form and submit the exam fee alongside, prior to the commencement of the papers.
