Students must maintain an aggregate of 45% marks in the semester and 40% marks individually in IA and Term-end exams to qualify a semester.
Assignments – Assignments are assigned to students through the online assignment portal of the university. They are a part of the Internal Assessment (IA) for the course which carries an academic weightage of 30% in the final evaluation. Assignments must be submitted within the provided deadline through the online portal of DU-SOL as the university is stringent about the same.
Term-End Examination – Term-end examinations are an important component of the final evaluation as they comprise 70% of the academic weightage for a course. The term-end examinations are conducted in the offline physical mode, in the medium of English and are of a duration of 3 hours. A candidate needs to fill the examination form and pay the examination fee each semester to be eligible to appear for the end-semester exams. An aggregate score of 45% marks must be maintained to qualify a semester and an individual score of 40% marks in each paper to qualify the exam.
