As already explained, the admission procedure is conducted in October-November and candidates can register themselves for the course online through the official university admission portal. After filling the application form, attaching necessary documents and paying the registration fee, candidates can submit their application for the course. The university generates merit lists and entrance lists, in which candidates are shortlisted. The shortlisted candidates can reserve their seat in the course by paying the annual course fee. Occasionally, the university also arranges online sessions, industry-interactions etc. for all-round learning.
Examination – The examinations in DU-SOL for the MBA program consist of the Internal Assessment (IA) and the End-Semester Examinations. The academic weightage for the same is 30:70 respectively. The qualifying criteria for the examinations is a minimum of 40% marks individually in both the IA and term-end exams, along with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in a semester. The term-end examinations for the course are conducted in the physical mode in designated exam centres and the IA assignments and projects can be submitted online.
Assignments – Assignments make up the major portion of the Internal Assessment component of evaluation in DU-SOL online MBA, which further constitutes 30% of the academic weightage. The assignments for the online MBA course are practical application-based and must be completed within the provided deadline and submitted on the university’s official portal for assignments. Assignments in the form of quizzes and research-based projects are also provided as part of the course.
Term-End/Semester Examinations – The term-end examination for each paper is of a duration of 3 hours in the medium of instruction, i.e. English. The candidate must register for the exam prior to its commencement by filling up the exam form and paying the examination fee. The mode of examination is physical and offline. The candidate must report to their designated exam centre to appear for the exam. A student should also obtain at least 40% marks in each paper to qualify the exam.
Placement – Top recruitment partners like ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Genpact, ISA Global, NIIT etc., the placement support of DU-SOL is satisfactorily high.
