PM Scholarship Yojana 2024-25
Each academic year, the PMSS (Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme) provides scholarships to 5500 candidates, evenly split between boys (2750) and girls (2750). This PM scholarship amount is distributed annually for the duration of the approved courses, ranging from one to five years, depending on the course length. Selected boys receive ₹2500 per month, while girls receive ₹3000 per month.

Priority Categories for PM Scholarship Grant
PM Scholarships are granted based on the following order of preference:
Category 1: Wards and widows of ESM/Ex-Coast Guard personnel killed in action.
Category 2: Wards of ESM/Ex-Coast Guard personnel disabled in action and boarded out of service due to disabilities related to Military/Coast Guard service.
Category 3: Wards and widows of ESM/Ex-Coast Guard personnel who died in service due to causes related to Military/Coast Guard duties.
Category 4: Wards of ESM/Ex-Coast Guard personnel disabled during service with disabilities related to Military/Coast Guard service.

- Children of civilian personnel, including paramilitary forces, are not eligible.
