New Delhi: The Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate (CUET-UG) 2023 is set to begin tomorrow with a staggering 13.99 lakh students registered to participate. This year, a total of 16.85 lakh students applied for the entrance exam, out of which 13.95 lakh successfully completed the application process by paying the required fee and submitting the form.
The exam will be held from May 21 to May 31. Among the registered students, 6.51 lakh are female, reflecting a significant representation of women candidates.
Conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the CUET-UG 2023 will take place across the country, excluding Jammu and Kashmir and Manipur. To download their CUET-UG admit cards, students can visit the official website cuet.samarth.ac.in.
Ahead of the exam, it is crucial for candidates to familiarize themselves with the following exam day guidelines:
Step #1- Candidates should report to the Examination Center at least 2 hours before the scheduled start of the examination.
Step #2 – Along with the admit card, candidates must carry a valid ID proof such as Aadhar card, UID, driving license, passport, or voter ID.
Step #3 – Candidates are required to bring a passport-size photograph identical to the one uploaded on the Online Application Form. This photograph will be pasted on the designated space in the Attendance Sheet at the examination center.
Step #4 – Electronic devices, including smartphones, smartwatches, and other gadgets, are strictly prohibited inside the examination center.
Step #5 – All calculations and writing work must be done on the provided Rough Sheets available in the Examination Room/Hall. After completing the test, candidates must hand over the rough sheets to the Invigilator on duty.
