Delhi University’s School of Open Learning has begun online registrations for MBA and Library Science courses for the 2026-27 academic session, with the portal live from June 17, 2026.
Online applications are now open for admission to Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and Online programmes for the academic session July 2026.
The Department of Distance and Continuing Education (School of Open Learning), Campus of Open Learning, University of Delhi, issued an official admission notice dated June 17, 2026, inviting applications for its professional and postgraduate programmes for the upcoming session.
DU SOL’s Courses Open for Admission Session 2006-27
According to the official notice, four programmes are currently open for admission:
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) — Online registration has commenced
- Master of Library and Information Science (M.Lib.Sc.) — Admission open
- Bachelor of Library and Information Science (B.Lib.Sc.) — Admission open
- Post Graduate Diploma in Automated and Digital Library Management (PGDADLM) — Admission open
These courses are offered through DU SOL’s open and distance learning mode, making them accessible to students and working professionals seeking flexible higher education without the need to attend regular on-campus classes.
How to Apply Online?
Interested candidates can complete the entire application process online. The steps are:
- Visit the online application portal at pgadmission.oldcdu.ac.in
- Go to the registration page at pgadmission.oldcdu.ac.in/student/register
- Register with the required personal and academic details
- Fill out the programme-specific application form
- Upload the necessary documents
- Pay the applicable fee
- Submit the form and retain the confirmation for future reference
What Are the Eligibility Criteria?
MBA (Master of Business Administration Programs)
- UR: Graduation with 50% marks from any recognised university in any discipline
- OBC/PwBD: 45% marks in graduation from any recognised university in any discipline
- SC/ST: Passed graduation from any recognised university in any discipline
- Age: No upper age limit
- Merit/Selection: Prepared under Category 1 based on 80% weightage to graduation marks and 20% weightage to professional work experience (up to 20% for 4+ years of experience, scaled down for shorter durations; candidates with no work experience are evaluated solely on graduation marks). Preference categories also exist for MBBS/BDS/MD/MDS degree holders or hospital administration experience, Group A government officers, and those with 2+ years of experience in corporate, hospitality, transportation, industry, service, or self-employment sectors (documentary proof required). Reservation policy applies as per University of Delhi rules.
Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLISc)
- Graduation from any recognised university
Master of Library and Information Science (MLISc)
- BLISc from any recognised university with 50% or above marks for the General category, 45% for OBC/EWS/PwBD, and minimum passing marks for SC/ST
Post Graduate Diploma in Automated and Digital Library Management (PGDADLM)
- BLISc or MLISc from any recognised university
