IGNOU provides direct admission to the distance and online MSc course which means there is no need to give any entrance exam to pursue this course from IGNOU. All the applicants need to follow certain steps to get admission to the IGNOU MSc course. Fill the Admission Form – After successfully registering to the admission portal you need to log in again to fill up the admission form. Applicants need to check the admission form properly and fill the form very carefully and also every candidate is requested to collect all the required documents for the next step of the admission.

Upload the Required Documents – IGNOU MSc admission requires the applicant to submit a few documents before proceeding with filling the form online. The applicant must have a scanned copy of the following documents:
– Recent Passport Size Photograph & Signature under 100 KB
– A scanned copy of age proof with relevant educational certificates that are less than 200 KB.
– If necessary, a copy of the experience certificate that is not less than 200 KB & a copy of BPL (below poverty line)certificate.
– A scanned copy of the category certificate if applying through SC/ST/OBC quota.

Payment of Fee – The second last step for admission is to pay the fees as per the course. Candidates can submit their fees offline or online before the last date of the fees submission. The online fee can be submitted using a debit card/ credit card/ net banking and for offline fee submission, the students are needed to draw a demand draft in the name of Indira Gandhi National Open University.

Submit the Form – After uploading the documents and submitting the fees the last step is to submit the form for admission to the course. After receiving your application form the university will verify your documents and send you the confirmation on your registered contact details.
