New Delhi: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has announced an extension of the application deadline for new admissions and re-registration in the July 2023 session. As per the latest update, candidates can now register for IGNOU courses offered in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online modes until August 10. This decision comes after a previous extension, as the application deadline was initially shifted from July 15 to July 30.
To apply for the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programmes, interested applicants must visit the official websites at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in and ignouiop.samarth.edu.in. Re-registration can be completed at onlinerr.ignou.ac.in.

Candidates need to ensure they have the following documents ready for the application process:
– Photograph (not exceeding 100 KB)
– Signature (not exceeding 100 KB)
– Copy of educational qualification (not exceeding 200 KB)
– Copy of experience certificate (if applicable) (not exceeding 200 KB)
– Copy of category certificate, if belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, or Other Backward Caste (not exceeding 200 KB)

Step 1: Visit the official website of IGNOU — ignou.ac.in.
Step 2: Select the “IGNOU July 2023 Re-Registration” link on the homepage.
Step 3: You will be redirected to a new page. Click on the link that says ‘Fresh admission for July session.’
Step 4: Create a new registration and fill out the application form.
Step 5: Pay the application fee and submit your IGNOU Re-Registration form.
Step 6: Download the confirmation page and keep a printout for future reference.
Applicants are advised to double-check their information while filling out the IGNOU 2023 registration form. If needed, they can make corrections using their login information. However, keep in mind that the window for making changes is limited, so applicants must request these corrections within the specified time frame.
